... teeth was badly infected thats why he had sever pain while removing the teeth. But after removing the teeth his throat started paining.Doctor said it was because of infection. He is not able to eat because of pain.Doctor suggested AZITHRAL 500mg for 3days.Why is he having the throat pain and will the table stop his throat pain? Wat else should be done in home regarding diet?
Hi, I don't want to worry you so take this with a pinch of salt, but my Dad had infected teeth, and led to him being seriously ill as the infection traveled in his blood and the infection spread (in his case to his heart).
The fact that the teeth have been removed is the best step to take, but I think he should really be on some kind of anti-biotic cover if he isn't already, and have regular check-ups for a little while. This could be the cause of his throat pain, but also if the gums are swollen, the inflammation can travel through his mucus membranes, also affecting the throat.
Have his temperature, pulse, BP been checked prior to and previous to the teeth removal?
Like I said, the example I've given is worse case scenario so don't panic, but definitely get him checked out.
I also do not wish to scare you but this is serious. I delayed oral surgery and was lucky. My neighbor was not so lucky and he is very ill right now. We have been doing research and are both surprised that we were ignorant about the connection from teeth and oral infection to other body parts, particularly the heart. Your situation sounds like it needs immediate attention. At the least, I suggest a second opinion. I learned the hard way to always get another opinion if my "instincts" are telling me the information I am getting about a condition does not sound or feel "right".
I always take a list of questions when I visit a Doctor. Many truly appreciate and value your concerns. A few dismiss them and they never see me again.
Anxiety can worsen any medical problem so just knowing you are on the right path can help recovery. Good luck and please let us know how things go for your husband.
