Infections - can I take Bactrim DS for my tooth pain/infection?

Try ibuprofen or aleve for the pain. It doesn't mean it's infected if you have pain. You may need to see a dentist.
You could have a cavity, in which case Bactrim isn't going to help, not to mention the fact that Bactrim is not the antibiotic of choice for an infection of the mouth if that is what you have. Only a dentist can make the determination.
No. This is not the correct drug for this indication. You need to see a dentist to determine what is your problem and if antibiotics are necessary.
