I was told I had contracted an sti infection last year. I recieved treament and was fine. Now after having protected sex some light symtoms are there. What now?
I suggest you contact your gynecologist, she/he have already treated you for this infection and know your history. I would say it is the safest thing you can do, because if it is "chronic" is a virus ( they can be active or inactive--but one will always have them, and one can have several outbreaks in a year), like shingles, so they might give you the same treatment as they did before.
What type of sti did you have treated?
All the best and good luck.-
