I have been using 25mg capsules 3x a day for back pain. I can't get the capsules know for unknown reasons at the pharmacy but they do have the suppository@ 100mg. It seems like a big jump to take all at once. So- can I take half of one at a time ?
There is no way to split the suppository into two equal halves,
Keep in mind that talking it rectally is different than oral, The rate of absorption is more rapid from the rectal suppository than from capsules (indomethacin) . Ordinarily, the total amount absorbed from the suppository would be expected to be at least "if not more" equivalent to the capsule.
the rapid absorption would lead to higher concentration of the drug.
