I have been on 25mg of Zoloft for 2.5 weeks now. The first week i started the meds I felt so calm and had very little anxiety and it was awesome. After about the 7th day I started to get my anxiety back and it has been with me since then. Do I need to increase my dosage or just wait till it fully kicks into my system?
25 mgs. is rather a low dose for this AD, after being on it for the length of time you have, I would recommend you speak to your Dr. and together come to terms with regards to increasing your dose.
Talking to your doctor is always a good idea. But this may help also. I am on 50mg of Zoloft, I found the first two week were the worst. After that it gets better but expect some minor relapses. I am told it takes about 4 to 8 weeks to reach full dosage in your blood. In some it could take up to 10 weeks. I am on week 6 and feeling pretty good with an occasional minor bout of depression. Stick with it but do talk to your doctor. Oh and take the drug at the same time each day. I take mine at bed time. Good luck hope this helps.
