This will be my fourth month taking the pill, and I started my period will I was on the active pills. My inactive pills start this coming Sunday. Because I had my period, do I need to start a new set of active pills? Or would I still do the week of inactive pills?
Should I still take my inactive pill if my period was the week before?

I take my pill at the same time everyday, and haven't missed or been late, too. So would I still be covered if I do the inactive pill, is what I'm asking?
No, you shouldn't start a new set of active pills. You just keep on taking the inactive tablets on the designated days. What you had was most likely breakthrough bleeding and will probably get another period while you are taking the inactive pills. And yes, you will be contraceptively safe during the time you take the inactive pills, provided you took the active pills daily, on time, etc.
