I'm in dire need of a support person with my multiple diseases! Its hard enough to take on yourself, but you begin to realize the impact to your friends and family a litle more every day. I want to go towards a more holistic and natural approach to care. I'm tired of pill popping hoping it will help.
I know what its like to have multiple diagnosis. I have fibro and autonomic nervous system disorder. There are a few more conditions but those 2 are the main ones. I've been sick for about 3 years now and it does feel like I'm becoming a burden to my family. So I talk to them less and less about my conditions. My husband use to be a personal traininer and he swears exercise helps. So I'm gonna try it again. Acupuncture was also suggested to me by my Dr. But I'm fearful of needles. Right now I'm on so much meds it sucks. I take more than my grandfather does. For me weed has helped so much. Now not everyone will agree with it and I don't do it anymore cause I have a teenager at home who suffers from Addiction to weed. But when i smoked it took all my pain Away and I didn't take my pain pills or any other pills when i smoked. There's no right or wrong way to choose. There are legal ways to handle pain management and they r just as effective. Either way dont be ashamed of taking pills. I want to get off of them badly cause I'm scared I'm becoming addicted to them. Try all different types of hollistic remedies u never know if it will help.
Hey first off sorry about ALL the things your approaching (its not easy) the good news is im still a guinea pig after 9 years, that said i have tried them all ( being every new med a doc is trying to promote for the world of pharmacy bliss) ... may i suggest that you cheer up : ) a little , fybro, and chronic fatigue are often a marriage a union of sorts. So , Lupus should be your focus, i have been living with fybromyalgia over 9 years... actually a diagnosis for 9 years... the debilitation was a problem for yeasr prior.before doctors started to listen. Kinda made you think you were CRAZY... once a name was connected there is a minute sense of ok, now that we know ... we can fix this ... RIGHT? Nah , not so much try this, try that , Today there has been positive feedback from some very good medications, i do not know enough about lupus( i know enough but not enough to comment ,) please get a second opinion on the lupus. They had me with lupus, MS, Rheumatoid arthritis, rare cancers truth is they are just as baffled with the fybro as we are. The truth is with the fybro your rheumatoid blood count will often be out of range , to disprove RA X-rays are necessary and wouldnt you know it was RA. So, dont approach your new diagnosis as being alone ( a positive outlook will only help you) so hang in there , read all side effects to prescription meds and make Damn sure the benefit outways the risks. Good luck
