Are you sure this is a good time to have a baby? Having a baby without insurance is very expensive and infants and children get ill often and have to have frequent check up, immunizations etc. You need to get the implant out. Even if it is expired, it can still be secreting some hormones-maybe not enough to keep you from getting pregnant but you dont want to expose a baby to anything you dont have to. You may also want to think about the financial ramifications of having a child right now and think about whether or not you can afford to take care of an infant/child. With the Affordable Care Act coming, you will have to purchase insurance or you will get penalized for not having it.
