I am now 66. When I was about 60 I started to take lexapro (10-15 mg.) and wellbutrin (300 mg.) together. For a number of years they combatted depression very well. Recently I have been in a down period because of the appearance of very low-grade prostate cancer and a dicey job situation. . The drugs don't seem to be working as well. Does the impact of the two together change as one gets older?
I don't know that their impact changes because of age, but sometimes these type meds have to be adjusted particularly when life throws us a curve ball. I have been taking medication for many years and have to adjust mine every 5 or so years. An appointment with the prescribing doc might be in order.
