I dislocated my shoulder about a month ago. A friend was prescribed nucynta, a fairly new drug and he said it would take the pain away. I have taken about 7or 8 pills in the past couple days, and I have a pre employment test in a couple days and Im nervous that there gona show up in the test and I dont have a script for them. So if anyone has any advice or knowledge about this I would like to hear from you.
Don't take anymore of the nucynta unless you can get a doctor or dentist to give you a legal prescription for it. Most opiate based pain meds stay from 3 to 8 days in the system as far as testing positive on a test. I tried to see if this is one of the opiates that is extended release, it didn't say it was but it still could be. If a person is young and has a high metabolism and it is a quickie in the office test, the med will be out of the system much faster than a person who might be older, heavier and has a slower metabolism. See if you can get your doctor to write you a legal prescription for it, so you won't have this worry hanging over you. If this is a mail to the lab drug test, they are alot more sensitive and you could still have a positive for a low amount of this drug at least to the 8th day.
