can i take ibuprohen and how much can i take at a time and how often
Yes. There is no problem taking ibuprofen when you are taking metronidazole.
Just take the recommended dose of ibuprofen.
Adults and children 12 years and over: take one 200 mg pill every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms persist. If pain or fever does not respond to 1 pill, 2 pills may be used.
Do not exceed 6 pills in 24 hours, unless directed by a doctor.
