Iv stared taking them for my hand about 2-1/2 years ago,i use to take about 60-65 mgs aday and that was 30mgs in the morning and 20 more 3-4 hours latter and 15 and a 1mg kped 2-3 haurs befor bed... But like a mounth ago i found my self taking higher doses its geting where they ant doing anything anymore and im scard my tolerance is why to high any way to stop that too...
In my opinion you're headed for trouble. At such a young age you should be able to wean down slowly and get off the opiates!! Hydrocodone (vicodin,norco ect) is very addictive and not really an effective long term pain killer. It really should only be used for acute pain not more than a couple weeks to a month at a time. Your tolerance grows to quickly with this drug as it isn't very strong to begin with.
If you don't stop then you are going to have a very shitty life ahead of you. Opiate addiction is a terrible life and believe me if I could go back I would never have taken any opiate pain killers unless I was in a hospital setting.
I hope for your sake that you do quit taking these pills. You have a couple things going for you and that is your age and the short amount of time you have been abusing these drugs. So what you have to decide is how you are going to go about stopping... Good luck... Dave
