Well I am sitting and waiting in the hospital for the nurse to come and get me, and for the first time I am getting a bit worried about what is going to happen. Like is the needle going to hurt when they try the Chest Port for the first time since having it placed a few weeks ago, will the treatment cause more pain and side affects because I will be getting the medications quicker. My body seems to be acting out and causing symptom that should not be happening. Well their is my name, hope to talk to some of you later.
I'm starting a five day Migraine treatment today, I'm a bit worried!!?

Hi all, Just wanted to say I had to stop the Migraine therapy last night. I had one more day of therapy left to do, but it became to painful and was told I had to stop. I reacted to the medications and things became to painful, to carry on so the doctors stopped the treatment. But the best news of all, the Migraine is so much better and I slept all through the night.
So I am going to take advantage of the way I'm feeling and hope I get quite a few days of relief. Sorry I didn't write much this week but I was finding it hard to do anything, because I was having such a ruff time and was finding it hard to cope with all that was happening to me. So the doctors are going to get together again to come up with a new plan of treatment, so hopefully I will not have to suffer like I just did again. I am looking forward to talking on the site again and hope everyone has had a good week. Liz.
Hello Liz. Out and about, and you're waiting for another set of treatments. Seems just the other day you had it done. How was the weekend? Your cough has hopefully diminished somewhat, I know that was a concern. And thats a positive. Try not and worry so much Liz. The chest port is painfull I know, but I'm sure it will do well. Take care, try and allow the day to unfold as it happens, thinking positive. bye bye then, check in later on,
ukliz, what is the treatment you are having? I haven't been on much & have missed out apparently. I hope all is well for you. You say it is for migraine? I've never heard of a treatment like this, could you explain if you feel up to it? If you don't, that's ok too. I certainly understand. I wish you the best & hope this works for you. I had migraine for over 35 years 24/7. They even thought at times it was brain tumors or something. Mine were finally cured by using immitrex shots, but I hear they no longer make the shots, & the pills don't seem to have the same effect. I really can understand your plight, & do wish you all the best sweetie...
