My derm told me that this was the standard course of treatment but I hear a lot of people saying that their dosage has been increased. I don't want to have to take accutane again and I'm worried if he keeps it the same it may not work as well.
The amount of accutane your dermatologist gives you is based on you're weight. It also doesn't matter how much you take. If you read the Description that comes with all the warnings It will say that any amount, if taken for the proper amount of time, will yield the same results as taking a higher dose for a short amount of time. So stay on it as long as your dermatologist will let you. Good Luck!
