I had my son 14 months ago, i lost 15 pounds right after delivery and I am still at the same weight even more, ive lost weight then gained it right back it seems like ive tried everything. I seen this online so I'm wondering if I should ask my dr for it, I guess I don't want to feel stupid if he says for me to just keep trying. I am 5'2 and 162 pounds. I gained like 60 pounds while pregnant. I would like to be 125 what I was before pregnancy. And knowing I am way over weight for my height. I need to know moree about this. And your results n review on this.
Baby weight... so hard to lose. I gained 60 pounds with my first child and seven years later 44 with my second child. It took me 5 months to lose that 60 pounds and probably just as long to lose the 44 pounds.
For me it was about making good eating choices. I stuck with an eating plan that worked for me. Maybe it will help you. I drank a soy protien shake for breakfast every morning. Had a salad and chicken breast or beef patty for lunch, at dinner I had two vegtables and a protien again, fish, chicken, beef; one of those. Nothing "fried" of greasy, and no starches like bread or pasta or potatoes.
If I got hungry between meals I ate raw vegetables or raw fruit, like carrots, celery or apples, orange etc. I drank a couple of bottles of water a day. At night if I got hungry I would have a couple tablespoons of lowfat p-nut butter.
I pretty much stick with that eating plan now because I am 56 years old and weight loves to hang on during menopause :) So give it a try and let me know how it goes if you do!
