... pain. I have seen 8 doctors now and have been told that Lupron is the only option. I am 21 years old and feeling a little lost. Are there any other treatment options that I'm not being told about besides Lupron, IUDs or birth control pills? I'm getting pretty desperate and I'm willing to try just about anything, any advice would be greatly appreciated

All the best and take care.-
thank you for the list of other medications and suggestions. i just noticed that somehow the top half of my question was deleted. what i meant to say was that i have had a laperoscopy which did remove some of the endo but did not help the pain. have seen several reproductive endocrinologists and they've all been saying the same thing. Lupron. the birth control hormone has failed and i'm currently experiencing too much inflammation to implant in IUD. I started the Lupron injection today so hopefully i don't have too many side effects.
Hi nightarcher, I am.a.woman that has had endo.for yrs & yrs. Got lucky, had my kids young. I had no alternative to full hysterectomy. Wouldn't trade my decision for anything! Freezing your eggs & using a surrogate sound like your best option. I have had 14 yrs pain free, was only 29 when I had my surgery. Best thing that ever happened to me, next to meeting my new hubby! God bless & best of luck!
