I have been fighting the worst pain killer addiction in my life. And I will be starting suboxone this week and my doctor mentioned the dangers if i am injured or in an accident. Have they come up with a solution? And I really want to make sure I am safe in case of an emergecy!
hi blue,im subzero58.i added u as a friend, sounds like u need one.if u should end up in an emergency room and need an operation u don't need to worrie. one thing u do need to do is make sure that sub is in your personal and medical file. after you do that you have nothing to worrie about.if you have a cell phone use an I C E number in your contacts list. ice stands for In Case of Eemergency. if u don't have a cell phone attach an emergency number to your ID or drivers license. use ur dr office number and give him a heads up that you are doing this. or a friends phone number who could speak for you if you can't speak yourself. I have been on suboxone for 8 months and it has changed my life for the better in ways i cant even begin to tell you. if you need to talk send me a privet message on drugs.com i hope to hear from you, and wish you the best... peter
