You could read the interactions between the 2 meds on: https://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=1578-0,439-2040

However, please also do talk to your doc/pharmacist who prescribed the meds. take care, be safe & well!

Hey tattedrob,

You have to be taking 30 mgs or less of the methadone and be in sufficient withdrawals ( around 72 hours after last dose of methadone) before taking the Suboxone. It really is best to be under a doctor's care before transitioning from Methadone to Suboxone. If you have been on the Methadone for a while and take the Suboxone too soon, you can cause precipitated withdrawals.

Best wishes,

Laurie

It all depends how long have you been taking 50mg how many times a day. Need a little more information to give you a better answer.
