Just be honest and tell your doc that your pain level is unmanagable.
If she/he is understanding then you may be given a different RX or a larger dose of your current medication. That's the best case scenario. I hope your doctor listens to you and is kind and understanding.
Hi i agree with Sweet Lemon. Tell him/her that you are concerned about how you may be viewed, but you really can't deal with the level of pain and discomfort. Be honest about how it is affecting your life. You may be prescribed an additional analgesic to take along side the oxycodone?
the best way is to tell your dr, i take 20 mg of percocet 10/325 every 4-5 hours. what i find that will help and works great with the percocet is ibu. try that, but please do tell your dr so your meds can be adjusted. trust me, you wont be the first or last patient to have asked for something stronger, hang in there
