I have been searching for a match but have come up empty handed.

2 options:

Call poison control at 1-800-222-1222.

Take the pill to your local pharmacy, perhaps the Pharmacist/Chemist will be able to help you id it.

It might be Tylenol NO. 1 (acetaminophen/caffeine/codeine) available in Canada.

Description: Each hard, white, capsule-shaped tablet, imprinted with stylized "M" and "McNEIL" on one face and "No. 1" on the other, contains acetaminophen 300 mg, caffeine 15 mg, and codeine phosphate 8 mg.

This combination of medications is used to treat mild-to-moderate pain associated with conditions such as headache, dental pain, muscle pain, painful menstruation, pain following an accident, and pain following operations.
