This is a pain that I've been struggling with for many years. Heat helps me. My heating pad and I are best friends. Also wearing shoes that have a little bit of a heel not perfectly flat like many of the styles today. Taking motrin or aleve on a regular basis will help. You can take 2 otc motrin 3 times a day, with food. Here is the biggest one yet, a new mattress. We need a mattress that is soft enough on top to give and conform to our body so that its supporting that area. I don't know who decided that we needed hard mattress that don't allow for the natural curvature of our spine, but thank heavens the mattress industry figured it out.
You can begin with diet and exercise (mild walking and stretching.), when we have a chronic pain condition many times we neglect our health, I know I did. Once I cut out all the junk, sugar, gluten and start eating healthier foods and hydrating I was able to deal with my pain better.
We allow our posture to slump in order to compensate for the pain, but only makes the pain worse. I am uninsured also, many Doctors offer reasonable cash pay programs, so I save my pennies so I get professional help from time to time. Hope this helps.
