It depends on whether it's clonidine hydrocloride which is an extended release medication (also called clonicel). It's also used for sleep disorders as well as for blood pressure. Clonidine also comes in a patch but you're obviously not using that as you mention a pill. Most likely it's okay, but call the pharmacy and ask them if your pill is an "instant or extended" release medication. That will give you the answer. You DON'T want to cut an extended release medication.
