Not really, methadone is your best bet for long term chronic pain. Your tolerance will be quite high from the methadone and it is very unlikely a doctor would prescribe the huge amount of opiates you would need to replace the methadone. So you can switch over but you will likely suffer from withdrawals, cravings ect along with insufficient pain killing effect.
Why do you want off the methadone, don't answer if you don't want to... Good luck..Dave
