I went to fill my script yesterday and my insurance wouldn't pay for the brand. I was wondering if anyone has tried it yet and found whether or not the generic works the same way. Thank you!
Generally there is no difference between a branded & generic med, the med is marketed after the brand has gone off patent, usually a generic med is cheaper to purchase than the brand perhaps the reason the insurance would not pay for the brand.
The generic should work as good as the brand, but would recommend that you double check it with a pharmacist/doctor before you take it, take care.
