I was wodering what the difference between Oxycodone and Oxycotin is?

I take 5mg oxycodone apap.

Oxycontin is just oxycodone in an extended release form.
Oxyaaron is correct. However, the difference between oxycontin and what you were prescribed is yours has acetaminophen added as well.
I think they are about the same (oxycontin is long acting) oxycodone is like percocet a short acting drug take care
from what the doctor told me oxycodone would be like percocet and oxycontin is suppose to be longer acting and lasts once its in your body I hope I have helped
