I was wanting to know what is considered a schedule iv drug and a legacy drug?

Low potential for abuse. Use may lead to limited dependence either physically or psychologically. Prescriptions may be oral or written. Up to 5 renewals are permitted within 6 months.

Legacy Drugs are drugs that have never had to go through the FDA’s stringent approval process, many of them are made by small companies.The makers call them legacy drugs and define them as drugs that have been prescribed for at least 25 years and have gained a history as being safe and effective.
