had a seizure. At the hospital they said it was from alcohol withdrawl only. When I checked with my primary care physician she told me that while on Wellbutrin and drinking that stopping the alcohol can cause the seizure. This was about 15 second seizure that I knew nothing about. One minute OK, next minute my husband was calling 911.
In 2008, I was on Wellbutrin myself after a short hospital stay. No alcohol withdrawals- I was only 19 at the time. I passed out and had a seizure at work, no history of seizure, thanks to the Wellbutrin, which the paramedics told me to stop taking IMMEDIATELY. I don't know if your situation has been resolved in the last 10 months, but I will tell you that Wellbutrin, as well as several other medications, lower the threshhold for seizures- in other words, someone who might not have a seizure otherwise can have one on Wellbutrin. I lost my license for 6 months (to make sure I was seizure-free), and it was determined that it was a non-epileptic seizure, so Wellbutrin was the only possible cause, aside from low blood sugar and low blood pressure; the mildness of both would only explain the passing out, but not the seizure
