I was prescribed revatio for pah. How long after starting medication with Revatio does it take to notice any results?
It's unfortunate that no one, who has used Revatio, has responded. Looking at the pharmacokinetics of the medicine I would say you may be able to see a difference in a week at least. I realize it's been a while now since you posted this question ... if you have noticed any improvements ... could you please add here (if you don't mind) what sort of time frame that took. Thank you.
I have only just started taking Revatio and have been on it a week. At the moment, the only difference I find is that my hip and butt muscles are achey - especially at night when I go to bed and that the last couple of days I've felt kinda washed out. Don't know exactly what's causing it - could just be the PH running it's course. I was told it could take 3-4 weeks to start seeing little changes and it could take as long as 3 months. Sorry I couldn't be more help than that. I can tell you that if you would like answers from others who have been on Revatio and those with PH - go onto PH Community in Yahoo, or go to www.phaassociation.org They are WONDERFUL and very helpful on all issues :) Good luck!
