Hello again :) I am new to this community and my questions on here are on a lot of diffrent subjects I know, but today I went to see my pshyciatrist and He and I agree that I am suffering from depression along with my anxiety. I do notlike antidepressents.. I have taken Lexapro in the past roighly about 5 years ago and when first on them I did fine. After I had went of them and then back on they didnt work so well, had slight weight gain and just a felling of emotional numbness. I was just wondering if anyone has any input on Zoloft and maybe some reviews and experince on this med?! Thank you for any ifo or comment that you leave :)
Sertraline (generic), zoloft (brand) is a good med if you take it as prescribed. I've been on it for 3 years and with thePo dosage upped over time, its been working well. It also helps with the anxiety. Try it out. What have you to lose. You will get many opinions of this med but everyone reacts different to different meds. The lack of labido is a disadvantage but whats more important !!! Hope this helps.
Hello alisha29. I was on it some time ago and It helped me at time. Libidio, as boots said is a common complaint to taking the med. Also, another one but less on the scale is insomnia. It can and does interfer with sleep. I stopped taking it for two reasons, it had begun to lose its potency as an antidepressant and it left me feeling tired out. But everyone is different. Its an ssri, was the first of the ssri. Give it a fair chance anf hopefully you'll say yes, this is the one for me. Best of wishes,
