... ended with one tablet of 2 mg a day. On Monday this past week, I decided I had enough. I threw the pills out and decided to detox. I was tired of suboxone controlling my entire life. Well the last 5 days have been pure HELL! I don't know what to do. I've tried trazadone, clododine, ambien, 800 mg of ibuprofin and rotating that with tylenol... nothing is helping my withdrawals. I was hoping I would feel better by now. I missed work all last week & was hoping to return this Monday. I'm really worried. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do I need to go back to my doctor and get another script of suboxone and taper down more? He doesn't know that I stopped taking the suboxone
You probably do need to be back on the suboxone. You are supposed to taper it to .25 milligrams before you come off of it. Congrats on getting it down to 2 milligrams from 32. That is a big deal, you are to be commended. If you want to end the withdrawal, and get back to work quickly, go see your doc stat. Hope you feel better very soon.
