... work for my pain as well ! Should i change to oxycodone 30mg. ir or is that a mistake ?

Hi Billy. Really the best thing to do is discuss an alternative with your doctor. If your on these meds for long term, it's not a great idea to take acetiminephen as it can damage your liver with long term use. There have been so many complaints about the new OC. Please discuss ALL your options with your doctor.
My best wishes and good luck!
I agee with Chris, talk to your doctor & in my opinion, switching to an IR isn't going to probably work for you. I've been doing research on a new medication called "Opana ER" & it looks to be promising. It's a combination between oxycontin & morphine in a extented release formula. I'll be trying t on 9/15 & am hoping it's all it says to be. I was taking both 80 & 60 mg oxycontin hcl & this new oxycontin oc is for the birds. It doesn't work any wheres as good nor last as long. I've been taking 8 80's a cay & still I feel awful.
Good luck & I'll let everyone know how the Opana ER worls for me after the 15th!!
