I would be happy to help you with a taper plan if that is what you want to do. There are other medications that are non narcotic that may help you with your pain. You could discuss medications like Lyrica or Cymbalta with your doctor. If you want a taper plan, just let me know and I'll be happy to oblige.
If we are going for pain control without getting sick, I love oxys, i get 15's break them in half and take them every two hours. Actually, if you could tolerate 7.5 mg oxy after a couple of days, try to bump the dose up to 15 mg. I understand about pain and no appetite. That's where I live now. I am on fentanyl and can't seem to get on the right dosage. I pizzed off my last pain doc. He wouldn't listen to me so I didn't listen to him. Did I actually think I was gonna win? JEEZ... live and learn and I'm freaking 56. Oh well sweetie, wishing you good health, I just had rotator cuff, biceps tendon... essentially my entire right shoulder reconstructed.I know just whatchu r talking about.
Let me know if you can think of anything and I'll do the same.
keli449, first of all, it dont seem that much of meds to be concerned of. and especially for the anxiety, do not get off the meds , its a disease just like cancer and needs treatment. and if your family thinks its the norco for the weight loss, could be just stress. if that is indeed what you want, is to get off norco, be honest and open with your dr asking to be put on a taper schedule. im on a taper off of percocet 10/325, and just keep in mind your anxiety is gonna go into full blown anxiety and panic, you will experience withdrawls, flu like symtoms, restless leg and arm syndrome and insomnia. but keep at it, keep going and comming here to your new family, we will get you thru. hope this helps
