Briefly the following;
Verapamil is in a group of drugs called calcium channel blockers. It works by relaxing the muscles of your heart and blood vessels.
Verapamil is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), angina (chest pain), and certain heart rhythm disorders.
Verapamil may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.
So it will be suitable or the hypertension (even if it is in your lungs), and tachycardia, which I assume in turn will help stabilise the sleep apnoea
Verapamil, is a drug that is used for controlling blood pressure, among many other maladies, it is a drug that help to relax the blood vessels in teh heart. I may also be used to help the heart maintain a normal hearth rythem and angina accociatied this also.
