... pump.but i am very worried coz i have seen the process on net.they have to open a large part of the body to fix the pump and the cathather as well.i have heard it can cause infections and leakage as well.what is the best solution for me ?any suggestions."
Is there no other medicine which you can take orally for your condition? Ask your doctor to try a few other oral alternatives before trying to get a pump. Since the highest dose of baclofen has had no beneficial effect then there could be a possibility that baclofen is not right for you.
80mg is the highest dose that I see recommended the one thing that I can suggest is have a talk with your doctor and express your concerns you said something about a pump prior to trying something like this (seems you are not comfortable with this and it is your body just come out and ask him if there is not alternative other than this medication or the pump please discuss this with him after all you pay him and it is your body please take care
