They used the word sinthetic? painkillers. I have never taken any pain pills except over the counter Tynelol, Advil etc. They gave me another test right after that one and I was unable to urinate an amount to register. I ask if I could come back later and they said the test kits were costly and would have to check with management. I never heard back from them.
They have false postives-which was why they wanted you to urinate again. You probably lost the job. It can be hard to do- but ask how much do they need in the cup-then stop there to keep some in your bladder for reserve. half of the family has security clearances and the other half are on probabation. don't eat anything with poppy seeds. drugs and drug testing can be odd. Some handlotions like Jergins can show up as a stimulant in a race horse and disqualify it and penalize the trainer. It goofy-so try to drink a little water before you go in-and not empty your bladder. Also running warm water over your hands can cause the bladder to function in spite of things. I'm sure that you were very tense.
There are so many things that could have caused this. A bad test strip or poor lab or maybe you ate something or took a cold or allergy tablet or something to that effect. They can all effect these sensitive tests, & they get what they are called false positive is why they wanted you to try again. If you couldn't they probably thought you knew you had something in you & was just scared. Don't let them put you off, call them & explain the situation. If you know about anything you could have drank, eaten or a pill for a cold or anything else Nyquil just anything call them back & hound them to death about it. If you are out of work I feel for you. It's getting better, but the job situation is a mess, & of course they don't want druggies working for them. You understand that, but to be put off like that is unresonable. Tell them you'll pay for the test. They used to run about $45 bucks. Probably are higher now. Depends on what lab they use or whatever. GO FOR IT! What have you to lose!!! ...
