... is tthe chemical bitartrate pretain to in this drug i can't seem to find it? can some one help me i use to be on just reg hydrocondone 357/500 i just don't know what bitartrate is?
Hydrocodone and Hydrocodone Bitartrate are the same drug. Hydrocodone is short for Hydrocodone Bitartrate. So for example, another pain medication is called Tramadol. The actual chemical name is Tramadol Hydrochloride. So it's just a easier way of saying the drugs name. So they are both the same drug (Hydrocodone and Hydrocodone Bitartrate). Hope this helps!
