I suffer from fibromyalgia and low hormone levels is part of the problem. Will this help me?
Dear Julie, please hit comment and list the name of the medication you are asking about. Hormones therapy helps somewhat with fibro, I am guessing that might be what you are asking. Please list the names of all regularly taken meds, the one you are asking about and the worst of your fibro symptoms that are bothering you. Pattishan61
Are you taking an antidepressant? That will help with the essential hormones. But what is more important is getting the right sleep. Then is where your body will regenerate the essential hormones your body needs to fight pain and fatigue. You need to get to delta level in order to regenerate those hormones.
Have every had a sleep study done? It would help determine if you are getting down to the that level.
You could start right now with good sleep hygiene. Several things you can do is an hour before bed be a quiet time for you. Let that be your wind down time. Take a hot bath with epsom salts and perhaps some with lavender in it. Epsom salts will help the muscles and lavender will sooth the mind and body. Get a sleep mask to block all light. Take melatonin to help you sleep.
Simple things you can do right now will help you get to that delta mode to regenerate the hormones your body needs.
