I can not afford to pay for my lamictal. I am on the generic
Did you just switch to the generic? I couldn't tolerate the generic and had reactions, so I had to go back on the brand. I needed help with payment too and I contacted the drug company direct to see if they had any programs for helping those in my position who had to take the brand name. I was given a 90 day supply free. Also your pharmacist may have some suggestions. The trouble with generic is many of these assistance programs don't cover them because they say they are already cheaper once they're generic. Maybe
your doctor can switch you back to the brand name - it may be the only way you get financial help. PPA-NOW (Montel Williams is spokesperson) is also an organization that helps you get your meds. Otherwise, if all else fails, check with Medicare or Human Services, even churches may help you with cash. Good luck.
