... my pain, like taking excedrin or motrin???
quick acting opiates like percocet aren't much good when you try and use them to kill or dull chronic pain. This isn't your fault as you're just following what the doctor tells you. You can't take anything that has Tylenol in it as you're already getting that from the percocet. Your best bet is to ask your doctor to put you on a sustained release pain killer. Otherwise you are just going to end up taking more and more percocet..Good luck... Dave
I take Avinza 90mg which is a extended release morphine and the take Morphine immediate release 19mg for breakthrough. I was on Percocet 10/325mg 4 x a day but I asked to be chaned because of the tylenol. Taking too much of tylenol and ibuprophen asprin motrin can hurt your liver and kidneys why don't you ask your doc to take you off the percocet and put you on something without the tylenol and would work the same as or better than the percocet. My doctor was glad to take me off percocet and put me on morphine. Good Luck and I hope this will help a little and you can just change meds and not mess up your other organs.
