I suffer from Fibromyalgia, I'm wondering if anybody that has fibromyalgia gets pain in your ams ke they are pins and needles, but feels like they are located under my skin? It's painful. I have read the common places where the tender points. I'm just wondering
I agree that it can cause it sometimes, but if its pins & needles it could also be carpal tunnel syndrome where the nerve in your wrist area are being pinched. You should have a EMG done on your arm & hand to rule that out before it causes you too much more pain & numbness. You reg. doc can order the test. It doesn't hurt or anything. Well, with fibro maybe a bit, but not real bad. Just my thoughts...
Hi, my rheumatoid doctor is in the process of doing tests and ruling everything else out. I know something is wrong and I think it's fibromyalgia. I have needle prick pains and unexplained body aches and pain (BAD pains). The needle pains are not constant, but they happen about once a day and last for a minute or two. I've had them in my hands, arms, feet and legs and yesterday I had the sensation that I had stepped on a nail and the pain radiated up my leg. It was awful, but only lasted a few minutes. If anything, it's frustrating because I know I had not done anything to cause the pain, but stand in one place! Anyways, I just wanted to share, that YES I have had that pain, and I am working with my doctor to diagnose fibromyalgia.
Also, I have been tested for carpal tunnel and that is not the case. Too bad, it would've been an answer and an easier fix. Best of luck to you- I recommend a rheumatoid doc- they are very knowledgeable!
