I take it in the morning because I am having problems with insomnia related to the depression. My initial reaction is that it seems as if the depression in my "head" is more a little anxiety in my body. I am waking up feeling a little more relaxed but as the day goes on, I become a little bit more uneasy. I'm taking the medicine in conjunction with seeing a behavioral therapist in working my problems out.
I take 60mg of celexa once a day, however for me,it just isnt doing the job,the depression is just as bad as it was before and yes i have given it time, almost a year, but we are now going to seek something else because it isnt working. It may work for you who know's,everybody's different. I also have insomnia, and I too take it in the morning, but it hasnt effected me either way as far as sleeping goes, and the doctor also told me it can help with anxiety, but again it didnt help me with that either,so im on xanax for that,im also on percocet, you'd think i'd be able to sleep, lol, tired all the time, yet i cant sleep, anyway, good luck to you, give it a shot for a couple months and see if your feeling better,if not tell your doctor that it's not working.
