I was addicted to Herion and was never as sick...
You know, after a couple times messing up with the refills (national holiday - and forgot to call in the script before the holiday) and having to go without it for a while, around six days once, after a few days the chills and the overall sickness that started to creep in, slowly but steadily made me see this drug in a very different light. It seems to be a medication that is pure good and pure evil at the same time. Once your on it, I have no idea how I'm ever going to get off of it after reading up on the procedure. Sick for around two weeks, and in some cases a few months!! I have tapered with great difficulty from Klonopin, and was able to reduce it by a third, down to a level that is what I need. I could do it, it wasn't fun, but it really was doable with some Valerian and meditation.
Methadone on the other hand... I don't know, the feeling that you get from it is so bad that the sensation really creeps me out! At the same time, it is something that I take for chronic pain, and has been the only medication that has actually worked in a major way. For some reason I have a feeling that I'll be on this med for a very very long time...
