... to do it hopefully in KY. Dasie32
Do you know anyone with a pain pump? You could ask them about the doc and how they are doing with the pump (pain relief and ease of us). When I was looking for a new pain doc, I moved from Arkansas to Florida, I looked in the phone book under pain management docs and was lucky to find a Harvard educated MD,PhD. He has done a lot of research and written numerous papers on new methods of controlling back and neck pain.
Another way to find a reputable doctor in your area is to call local hospitals PR the AMA in your area. Try the Better Business.Bureau. Word of mouth is the best referral because those others have already experienced he work and his bedside manner, if he really is competent and how willing he is to work with you to relieve your pain... and not judge you. Your pain is what you say it is... because he certainly has no way of knowing.
Wow... can you tell that I've had some rather bad experiences. I know we all have, "Pain People", like we're lying? Good Grief.
Can't think of anything to add, but I'd like to wish you the greatest of luck in your endeavours.
