Are pharmacys able to obtain information such as him filling prescriptions for the same stuff prescribed by different doctors during the same time period. While he is in the act of getting it filled? If not I would like to contact these pharmacys he uses and try to put a stop to it before it is to late.
If it were my son, I would definitely be reporting it to the pharmacies and the doctors. They will most likely take a stand on the abuse of the system by your son. You have nothing to lose by trying, and everything to lose by not.
I live in Texas also. Unless your son is filling his prescriptions at a family owned independent pharmacist then yes, they will know. CVS and Walgreens, Walmart etc use the same networked computer system.
Hope this helps,
