If I ever have any questions like the one u are asking I owuld call the pharmacy if u are nervous justtell therm u are calling for your ister or ocusin or something that is what i do sometimes i look them up when i get new ones but when i am really sick i just make the calltoo the pharm...
lol janymak thats why it is always good not to jump from pharmacy to pharmacy so they know your reactions from knowing all about u and what u are on
I'm a little confused, you are taking hydromorphone immediate release formula or extended release formula? It sounds like you have the hydromorphone extended release formula with the Vicodin for break through pain as it is the short acting pain med. Anyway, the Ambien at night is ok, as long as you are taking your meds exactly as prescribed, no more than prescribed, AND the doctor knows everything you are taking. As long as the doctor knows you take the Ambien at night, he/she would have considered that when determining your dosage for the hydromorphone.
Do not take more than prescribed as they are all central nervous system depressants and could cause a decrease in heart rate or breathing. If your doctor didn't know about the Ambien then you need to call the prescribing doctor and get his/her ok before taking it.
Do not drink alcohol while on this combination of drugs.
