I'm on the last 2 inactive pills and I still haven't started my period. Now I'm confused because I don't know if I should start my new pack. I seriously doubt that I'm pregnant. I took every pill correctly and used a back up plan like my doctor suggested so what do I do. I don't want it to screw up my periods if I start a new pack. Can anyone help me??
Keep taking the inactives and start your new pack on time. It is fairly common to skip a cycle, or start on the last inactive pill, especially when first starting birth control. For the first three months of bcp use, you are more likely to skip a cycle, or have break thru bleeding or nausea, then you level out to the pills combo of hormones and are usually fine, if you take all your pills correctly.
