Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi Christina D,
We need more info, if you could add what medications you have taken that you had bad reactions to, we may be able to help.
There are many fibro sufferers on this site, we will try to help in any way, we just need more information.
If you go to your question, look for "add more info to my question", and let us know what you've tried and what reactions you had.
Best wishes, and hope to hear from you soon,
First, list all meds that you have taken and bad reaction(s ) you had
and the estimated severity of these reactions.
Finding the meds that work best with minimal unwanted reactions is a trial and
error process for all people and all meds. Med A may be good for 20 people,
minimally effective for 12 people , have unpleasant reactions for 8 people,
and unacceptable reactions for 5 people.
You and your physician must work together to see which meds work
best for you. You may have to tolerate some mild reactions to get the
relief you need.
It would help to have a positive mental attitude. Your self talk "I have bad reactions to most meds," is setting yourself up for failure. Instead say to yourself "I have had some bad reactions to some meds I've taken." If you're going to achieve victory over Fibro, you're going to have to be open to experiencing some side effects in order to find the best treatment for yourself. Think positively.
