... use methadone? Or do i have to taper down?? Sumbody please help
You can not just stop the Suboxone. You have to taper off over much time. I really recommend you stay with the Suboxone. It really is a good drug for opiate detox. The methadone you will have to taper off eventually too and it is really harder to get off then the suboxone in my opinion.
What dose Suboxone are you on? You may benefit from a dosage reduction so to alleviate the anxiety. Best to discuss this with the doctor.
Hang in there and give the doc a call. We are here to help so keep posting,
hey. I was on Suboxone for 3 years and i tapered myself off. I did however let my doctor know what the suboxone was doing to me and that I was coming off.You havent even been on that long so you shouldnt have much of a problem tapering down. i dont know how badly u were addicted so i cant say whether u should get on the methadone waiting list or not, but you definitly dont need meth to get off suboxone. if it is helping you and you want to stay on the suboxone your dr, can probably refer you to a psychologist who can help with the anxiety and whatever else is goin on. I only no all of this because I have been battling this demon for years and tried almost eveverything
