... a kind of maroon pill with a M and a 30 on it. if i have not taken something like this drug do you think ill have adverse effects? or be hurt bye it in any way
This pill is a "Morphine sulfate SR pill, slow release morphine. If you have never taken an opiate medication and your are not opiate tolerant, I would not take this medication at all. Most of all, do not try to break it in half or crush this pill, it is meant to be slow release, and if you break or crush it, you risk an immediate release of morphine that may release too much at one time into your system. That is very dangerous also. You need to see your doctor and get some pain medication suited to your own needs. This is a very strong and serious narcotic medication not to be dealt with lightly. Please do not try it. I pray you will seek out the advice of your own Family Doctor if you are in that much pain. I fear you could over dose on this. Even tho it is slow release, you do not know what reaction your body will have taking this med.
Having said that, I am so against someone giving friends their pain medication without regard to the outcome or consequences that may follow if you have a bad reaction. If you have a problem and someone finds out this friend gave it to you, they could possibly be jailed.
I'm not trying to preach, just educate you a little bit for your information.
I'm sorry you're in so much pain that you are willing to take a med you aren't familiar with. Please take my advice, and go to the doctor hon, I really worry about situations such as yours.
Please not think I'm putting you "down" or criticizing you, I am not in any way trying to do that. I pure unadulterated concern for your personal safety.
Check back OK, and let us know how you are doing alright? Bless You, and Good Luck.
