I'm 21 and my sister has the same nerve problems she is on oxycontin and says it works miracles for her pain. I am curious to know if it will help me or not?
I've heard oxys work well for people with chronic pain but the problem with them is you develop a tolerance to those quickly too, and if you want to eventually get off of them percs, and other pain killers prob wont work as well. plus they are highly addictive and the withdrawls are insane. i know bc i was in rehab for them. i developed a tolerance to them within a week. there are many alternative methods for pain management, and there are also non narcotic pain killers your doc can prescribe. i would def look into other methods before going on oxys. your doctor is smart. have you ever thought about something like acupuncture/meditation etc
